CR Murder Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- A murder suspect in Cedar Rapids says he's not guilty and will go to trial later this year.
Court records show 32-year-old Bobbie Little entered a not guilty plea Tuesday on the charge of first degree murder.   Little is accused of stabbing to death 37-year-old Shanna Beyhl.  Beyhl was found dead in her Cedar Rapids apartment on April 4th after police were called to check on her.
Little was initially arrested and charged with stealing items from Beyhl's apartment.  He was later accused of killing her.  Little remains in the Linn County Jail on $750,000 bond.
If convicted of first degree murder, Little would face a mandatory life sentence in prison with no chance of parole.
