Governor Jumps on Campaign Trail

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) - Republicans are reaching out to voters on Thursday,
Just two days after securing the nomination and just a day after his first television ad came out; Governor Branstad will be on the campaign trail.
At 11:30 he will be at Pate Asphalt Systems in Marion.
The goal is to highlight his work as Governor in the past as well as to show the difference he can make in Iowa.
He is running against democratic candidate Senator Jack Hatch in November.
Hatch says Iowans need a new start.
If Branstad is re-elected for a sixth term, he would be the longest serving governor in the U.S. history.
