Ceremony Cancelled for Bergdahl

HAILEY, ID (CBS2/FOX28) - The released Taliban prisoner will not be getting a welcome home celebration.
People in Bowe Bergdahls hometown in Idaho received threatening calls and emails after they announced they were planning a ceremony for the soldier.
Thats because some feel that Bergdahl should be punished as a deserter and not commended for his actions.
This all comes after a military investigation found that Bergdahl had wandered off the base in Afghanistan on his own at least once before his disappearance in 2009.
The controversy has split lawmakers down the middle, some saying he should be called a hero, others saying he's a deserter.
Lawmakers are also upset with the white house because they say they werent properly told about the release of five Taliban fighters for the single prisoner of war.
