Lawmakers Call for New Benghazi Investigation
Washington D.C. (CBS 2/FOX 28) - House Republicans are asking for another investigation into the deadly attack on a U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
In a 232 to 186 vote on Thursday, the House agreed to create a new committee to answer lingering questions about the incident.
Many democrats believe the new probe is politically motivated.
They're threatening to boycott the committee and are expected to meet later Friday to decide if they'll participate. They say several panels have already looked into the attack.
Four Americans, including ambassador Chris Stevens died in the September 11, 2012 attack.
