Braley Unveils New School Bus Safety Legislation

Cedar Rapids, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) - Monday afternoon, representative Bruce Braley will be in Dubuque to speak out about efforts to make our school buses safer.
Braley unveiled a bill last week which stiffens penalties for people who illegally pass school buses.
It also calls for several things, including motion activated systems which would tell bus drivers when someone is passing them, thorough background checks for bus drivers, and a bus seat belt program.
Hell be at carver elementary at 3:15 Monday afternoon.
