Romney Stumps for Ernst

Cedar Rapids, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) - Primary elections are less than a week away and a lot of candidates are getting help from some big names, hoping for a last-minute boost.
On Friday, U.S. Senate hopeful Joni Ernst will get support from former Presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who will be in Cedar Rapids stumping for the republican.
Ernst is among a crowd of republicans hoping to fill retiring senator Tom Harkins senate seat.
The GOP is hoping to turn six democratic seats red in order to control the senate.
The winner of Tuesdays primary, is expected take on Representative Bruce Braley in the general election.
Romney will be at the Veterans Memorial Building Friday at 8am.
