Severe Weather Sweeps South

Cedar Rapids, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) - That storm system that moved through Eastern Iowa on Sunday, has now killed 26 people -- and the storm isn't over yet.
Forecasters say this is a massive system which continues to spawn more tornadoes.
The national weather service says the tornado that hit in Mayflower, Arkansas and nearby Vilonia over the weekend likely had winds greater than 136 miles per hour.
Yesterday, that same system produced a fast-moving tornado, which ripped apart homes in Limestone County, Alabama.
A twister also touched down in Tupelo, Mississippi damaging hundreds of homes.
One man in Mayflower rescued a little girl that was thrown more than 50 feet from her home.
Forecasters are warning Georgia residents of a threat of tornadoes as the system moves eastward today.
Florida and the Carolina's could also see severe weather.
