Mayor Corbett "Disappointed" by Decision

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Supporters of a plan to bring a casino to downtown Cedar Rapids were visibly shaken after it was announced that their application was rejected by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
Moments after the decision was announced, Mayor Rob Corbett spoke with CBS 2 News reporter Matt Hammill.  He expressed his disappointment with the decision.
"They turned their back on $130 million private sector commitment in our community, even by their own admission they said that the racing and gaming industry is stagnant and stale." Said Corbett.
