UPDATE: Police Investigate Shots Fired Calls

CEDAR RAPIDS (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Police are now releasing more information about a string of shots fired over the weekend. Officials are now investigating at least three reports as possibly related.

The first call came in at about 9:30 Saturday night near Wiley Blvd. and 22nd Ave. SW. Police believe 21-year-old Kendan Fonville drove himself to Guppy's On The Go at Edgewood Rd. and Johnson Ave. SW. He was treated and released from the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound.

Another shooting happened at about 11:00 Saturday night at 4008 21st Ave. SW. A woman there suffered burns when a hot bullet landed between her fingers after going through the apartment wall.

No one was hurt when a third shooting happened just after 12:00 Sunday morning, when two bullets hit a building at 360/362 15th St. SE.

So far, no arrests have been made in any of the cases.
