Mason Creates Sexual Assault Student Committee at U of I

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The University of Iowa is taking another step in the battle against sexual abuse on campus.
President Sally Mason is encouraging students to apply for a seat on a Student Advisory Committee.
That's to provide her with input on the school's sexual misconduct policies.
The committee will meet with Mason regularly during the school year.
Two weeks ago, Mason announced a new six-point-plan for combating sexual assaults on campus.
