Cedar Rapids Police Investigate Brawl in Food Court

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Cedar Rapids Police are working on verifying whether a brawl took place at the Lindale Mall recently.
The internet has been buzzing about this video posted on social media sites.
In it -- people are throwing chairs, screaming, and beating a man in a food court.
Police say they have yet to verify if the video was actually taken at Lindale Mall -- and when it happened. They do say they responded to a call of a fight at the mall on Saturday, February 15th.  When they got there, they say all those involved were gone.
They also aren't sure if the video is real or just a prank.
In a statement from Simon Property Group who runs Lindale Mall, officials say, "This behavior is clearly inappropriate and will not be tolerated at our properties."
Below is full a statement from Simon Property Group:
"This behavior is clearly inappropriate and will not be tolerated at our properties.  We take the safety of our employees and shoppers very seriously, and work closely with the Cedar Rapids Police Department. As this matter remains under investigation, we ask that any questions be directed to Cedar Rapids PD."
