Statue of Influential Iowan Heading to D.C.

DES MOINES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- A statue of an influential Iowan is set to be installed at the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C.
    A statue of Iowa's Dr. Norman E. Borlaug will be part of the National Statuary Hall Collection.
    Governor Terry Branstad announced the addition today.
    Dr. Borlaug dedicated his life to creating better varieties of wheat and working with farmers to end hunger worldwide.
    Borlaug won the Nobel Prize, Presidential Medal of Freedom and a Congressional Gold Medal.
The unveiling of the statue will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
