Corridor Schools Compete for Spot at State Robotics Tournament

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- High school students got to display their robotics skills at Harding Middle School this afternoon.
    The Kennedy Qualifier hosted 23 teams competing for a spot at the Iowa Championship.
    Students design, build and program a robot.
    They have to be able to perform tasks like lifting blocks, raising a flag, or climbing an obstacle.
    Competitors say there is more than meets the eye when it comes to competitive robotics.
    Teams from Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Kennedy and Center Point Urbana advanced to the state tournament.
