Public Hearings For Coralville Comm. Plan

CORALVILLE (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Citizens will have two opportunities for input on Coralvilles new community plan during the month of February: public hearings at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Wednesday, February 5, and the City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 25. Both meetings will take place at 7 pm in Coralville City Hall.
Input and feedback may also be provided through an online form, located at http://bit.ly/1cLHuSW.

During the last 12 months, the City of Coralville has been developing a new community plan that will serve as the foundation for decision-making for the next generation. The plan incorporates input from residents and business owners that was gathered through public meetings, surveys, interviews, on-line mapping, and other tools.

A draft of the plan is available at http://bit.ly/1cLHuSW. The plan includes an introduction, summary of outreach and input, vision for 2029, and plans for land use, housing, natural resources, community character, economic development, transportation and mobility, infrastructure, community facilities, and implementation.
