JoCo Siren Testing Delayed for New Year Holiday
JOHNSON COUNTY (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
Johnson County officials say 2014's first emergency siren testing will take place on Thursday, January 2nd at 10am.
The testing is meant to make sure the siren is in working condition in case of high winds, strong storms, or tornadoes.
It is normally done on the first Wednesday of each month but has been pushed back for the New Year holiday.
