Iowa Air Quality to Improve

IOWA CITY (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
Iowa health officials say recent air pollution is moving away from the state.
The Department of Natural Resources warned on December 2nd about high levels of fine particles in cities like Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Davenport, and Muscatine.
The particles can come from vehicles and can be harmful for those with breathing or heart issues.
Officials say cold air coming into the state on December 3rd, though, has already caused the particles to disperse and will continue through the night.
