Iowa City School Board Approves Part of Facilities Plan

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The Iowa City School Board is moving forward with part of a plan that will decide when construction projects will happen.
Last night, the Board approved only a portion of the more than $250,000 plan.
It delayed acting on the full plan because of remaining questions and concerns.
The Board voted unanimously to adopt the first year of the 10 year facilities plan which will address all of the projects at the District's schools and build new ones.
A Board meeting to discuss the rest of the plan will happen on December 10th.
