Future of Larry Hedlund Suit Up in the Air

DES MOINES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) --     The future of fired DCI agent Larry Hedlund's wrongful termination case is up in the air.
Lawyers for the state and attorneys for Hedlund are arguing over whether his lawsuit can hold up in court.
The Iowa Attorney General's Office has filed a motion asking a judge to hold Hedlund's lawsuit.
They say Hedlund's termination technically isn't final because he will still get paid until the Employment Appeals Board rules on whether there is cause to support it.
Many speculate that Hedlund was fired after complaining about Governor Terry Branstad's speeding incident.
