Police: Waterloo Man Attacked School Bus Driver

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) -- A Waterloo man has been accused of attacking a school bus driver who was transporting his sister.
Waterloo police say 20-year-old Dashawn Davontay Akeem Robertson entered the bus Sept. 12 after witnessing a verbal argument between his sister and the bus driver.
Robertson is accused of threatening the driver, Dale Willie, before punching him multiple times in the head.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports the attack was captured on the bus' security camera. Robertson was arrested Monday.
Robertson faces first-degree burglary in connection. A police report says Robertson entered the structure with "the intent to commit an assault."
Court records do not indicate if Robertson has an attorney. His next court appearance is scheduled for early October.
