Iowa Court of Appeals Upholds Conviction

CEDAR FALLS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) --     The Iowa Court of Appeals is up-holding a conviction in a vehicular homicide case that occurred three years ago.
Austin Hansen, 26, appealed his 25 year prison sentence, but the appeal was overturned today.
Hansen was driving near West 13th Street in Cedar Falls in November of 2010 when he lost control of his pick-up and hit a retaining wall.
His passenger, Kaley Kennison, 26, died from her injuries in the crash.
Police say Hansen's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit after the crash.
