Cedar Rapids Science Center Opening

CEDAR RAPIDS (CBS 2/FOX 28)

The science center is officially in its new home this afternoon. it has moved from its Lindale mall location to its new permanent home in north-east cedar rapids. The space is intended to be a resource for folks who have interests in new connections and new opportunities. The center plans to expand programs for kids and adults. The new facility will also include a large maker space, which will be a hub for creating new ideas for free-thinkers and inventors alike.

The Science Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 5pm. Admission during public hours is $3.00. Located at 5824 Council Street NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
