Johnson Co. Jail/Courthouse Public Input

JOHNSON COUNTY (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The Johnson County Board of Supervisors will hold seven public input meetings on how to deal with the need for more space at the County Jail and County Courthouse.

Officials say the current building is overcrowded, and have already seen two proposals defeated by voters.

The meetings will be held throughout the month of August at different locations across five cities in Johnson County. See the full list below.

People can also give their input by contacting the Board of Supervisors through one of the ways listed here:
Phone: (319) 356-6000
Fax: (319) 356-6036
Email: sups@co.johnson.ia.us
