Eastern Iowa Man Accused of Threatening Workers with Gun

KALONA, Iowa (AP) --
An elderly man in eastern Iowa has been accused of using a rifle to threaten county employees working near his home.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says 78-year-old Leo Shrock, of Kalona, yelled at county employees Monday morning to leave the area, despite them not being on his property.
Schrock is accused of telling the workers he would get his gun and make them leave. Police say he went inside his home and brought out a rifle.
Authorities have not released additional information about the incident. Schrock was arrested and faces one count of going armed with intent. Records do not list any attorney.
