IOWA CITY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- UPDATE: The body of 54-year-old Perry Graham was pulled from the Iowa River. He was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for a pending autopsy.

Authorities in Johnson County are investigating an apparent drowning.  It all started Wednesday morning when someone ran into a restaurant saying a man had fallen into the Iowa River.  Iowa City Police, the Johnson County Sheriff's Office and local firefighters were called to the scene.
A short time later, officials recovered the body of the man near the Highway 6 Bridge in Iowa City.  At this time authorities say they know who the victim is, but they are not releasing his name pending notification of family members.
A spokesperson for the Iowa City Police Department says the victim apparently lived under the bridge where the drowning occurred.
