CR House Fire Intentionally Set

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- What started as a domestic ended in a house fire and a homeowner behind bars.  It all started late Monday Night when Cedar Rapids Police were called to a domestic situation at 2472 Fruitland Boulevard SW.  After speaking to the people at the home officers left, but were called back again early Tuesday morning for a suicidal subject.  That's when they discovered the fire and the homeowner missing.
Firefighters knocked down the flames, but not before heavy damage was done to the home.
Later, the homeowner, 53-year-old Ken Ngombwa showed up at the Linn County Jail and allegedly created some time of disturbance which led authorities to arrest him for disorderly conduct.
Firefighters back at the home determined that the fire was intentionally set.  No one has been charged in connection with the fire, but the investigation continues.
