More Indications Branstad Will Seek Another Term

URBANDALE (CBS 2/FOX 28) - More indications Tuesday that Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds are seriously thinking about seeking another term in office.

The "Governor Branstad Committee" announced Tuesday morning that it has hired four field directors to support a re-election campaign - one for each of Iowa's Congressional districts.

Branstad and Reynolds have hinted for months they'll seek re-election, but have yet to make a formal statement.

In announcing the field directors, campaign manager Jake Ketzner noted "The organization we are building will be ready to hit the ground running should the governor and lieutenant governor decide to seek reelection...".

The field directors would also work to elect Republicans in each of the four Congressional districts.
