Evansdale Cousin Abduction Case: One Year Later

EVANSDALE (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says nearly a year after the abduction and murder of Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook, two young cousins from Evansdale, they are continuing to aggressively investigate.
In a release sent on July 11th, officials say they are reviewing thousands of leads and reports that have come in over the past year and following up on information as it is discovered.
Unfortunately, they are not releasing any more new information in order to preserve the integrity of the investigation.  They say much of what is known right now must remain confidential.
Anyone with information in the case is still urged to call the tip line at 319-232-6682 or the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-855-300-TIPS.  You can also email your information to ourmissingiowagirls@dps.state.ia.us.
A reward of more than $150,000 is available for information leading to a conviction.
