Lowden Hit Hard by Flash Flooding

LOWDEN, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Rescue crews took to their boats to rescue people in the Cedar County town of Lowden Monday morning, after several inches of heavy rain fell, putting as much as half of the town underwater.
Rapidly moving water surrounded and submerged a number of homes, businesses and other structures.  Roads were also blocked off to prevent motorists from trying to drive through the water.
