Boat Ramps Reopening in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- With flood waters receding along the Cedar River, authorities plan to reopen the boat ramps in Cedar Rapids at Noon Wednesday.
By that time, the Fire Department expects river levels to return to a safe level for boating.  River levels continue to fall after the Cedar River crested early Sunday Morning at 18.23 feet.  That's well below the record crest in 2008 at more than 31 feet.
