Police Arrest Suspect in Des Moines Stabbing

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal weekend stabbing in Des Moines.
Sgt. Jason Halifax said Sunday that 27-year-old Ashley Nichole Rogers has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Frank Terrence Renfro Jr.
Officers and medics found Renfro and 22-year-old William Rochon in east Des Moines early Saturday after the stabbing was reported. Both men were rushed to the hospital.
Renfro died but Rochon is expected to survive. Halifax says more charges may be filed once investigators get a chance to interview Rochon, who is recovering from surgery.
