DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) -- Police say a 21-year-old Dubuque man pretended to be an officer, so he could get inside a home and assault two boys.
Christian Laugesen is facing several charges after the May 24 incident.
Police say Laugesen was forced out of his ex-girlfriend's home on May 12 after getting into a fight with two boys.
Then on Friday, police say Laugesen returned and pretended to be an officer to get back into the home. Police say he forced his way inside to assault the boys.
Laugessen has been charged with burglary, impersonating an officer and criminal mischief.
