New Leadership for Salvation Army of Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (CBS 2 / FOX 28) - There will soon be a changing of the guard at the Salvation Army of Cedar Rapids. Lt. Michael Sjogren and his wife, Lt. Kristina Sjogren have received their farewell orders and their service as Corps Officers in Cedar Rapids will end on Sunday, June 23.
In an email to board members and staff, Michael Sjogren said Cedar Rapids "has been an amazing place to minister."
Majors Paul and Barb Logan will succeed the Sjogrens as Corps Officers in Cedar Rapids. The Logans are currently stationed in Springfield, Illinois.
Michael and Kristina Sjogren received a new appointment as Divisional Youth Secretaries for the Metropolitan Division in Chicago.
