Panthers hold off late Cal Poly attack for first win of 2017

UNI defeated Cal Poly in overtime 45-38 in its home opener.

It may have been a little too close for comfort, but the UNI Football team stayed strong and held on for a 45-38 overtime victory over Cal Poly. Junior quarterback Eli Dunne threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns, while senior wide receiver Daurice Fountain hauled in three of those touchdowns. The Panthers travel to Southern Utah next weekend.
