Woman charged with first degree murder after rest stop shooting
VICTOR, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) —
A 43-year-old woman is facing a first degree murder charge for a shooting that left a male trucker dead at a truck stop in Iowa County early Wednesday.
Mariana Lesnic is accused of shooting a man at the westbound I-80 rest stop in Victor at 2:37 a.m. He was found dead in his semi truck with gunshot wounds.
The identity of the victim will be released when family are notified. Lesnic's address is unknown.
Lesnic is being held in the Iowa County Jail on $1 million cash-only bond.
