Man shot after home was burglarized in Waterloo
WATERLOO, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) —
A Waterloo man is in critical condition after being shot after his home was broken into Monday night.
Waterloo Police were called to a burglary in process at a residence in the 100-block of Courtland Street with a shooting victim inside.
Upon arrival, officers found 39-year-old Cedric Craft with a gunshot wound to the head. No suspects were found at the scene.
Craft was taken to Unity Point Allen Hospital, but has since been flown to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in critical condition.
The case remains under investigation.
