He's already a facing first-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder and and three intimidation of a dangerous weapon charges.

Iowa City Police say officers were patrolling the Ped Mall in the early morning of August 27 when they heard shots fired at 1:29 a.m. A press release from Iowa City Police states the shots fired were heard in the area of College Street and Dubuque Street. Officers found three shooting victims in that area, including 22-year-old Kaleek Jones, who died. An autopsy says that Jones was shot in the back and neck, and ruled his death a homicide as a result of those gunshot wounds. Two other men survived the shooting.

Wilson is planning on using the new "stand your ground" defense.

His trial is scheduled for Nov. 7.
