Iowa City Police helps drivers with B.U.L.B.S. Program

B.U.L.B.S. voucher

Broken tail lights are not only dangerous, they are illegal. Now, police in Iowa City is helping drivers repair burnt out lights for free through their B.U.L.B.S. or Building Unity Linking Businesses for Safety program. The department is partnering with local repair shops to help replace a burnt out headlight, taillight, brake light, turn signal or license plate light. Officers will hand out vouchers on the case by case basis.

They say anybody can receive a voucher not just drivers in Iowa City. The department say they will run the program as long as local businesses can participant.

Here is a list of the businesses participating in B.U.L.B.S!
