I-80 crash shuts down westbound lane near Williamsburg

One westbound lane is closed on Interstate 80, just west of Williamsburg after a crash Monday night, according to Iowa State Patrol.

Sources tell CBS2/FOX 28 the crash involves two semi trucks near the Ladora exit, one with chemicals on board.

Iowa County Sheriff's Office said a hazmat from Linn County is being sent out to the scene and one driver was airlifted to a local hospital.

All lanes were closed on the westbound side for a short period of time, according to deputies.
