UPDATE: Boil advisory in Ely lifted
ELY, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) —
UPDATE: The boil advisory has been lifted.
The City of Ely is under a boil advisory.
City officials say there is reason to believe there may be a problem with the water supply. While the water is no inherently unsafe, the Iowa DNR recommended issuing the advisory.
There is no timeline for how long the advisory will last. City officials say the advisory could extend into the weekend. The city will update the status of the advisory on the city's website and Facebook page.
