UPDATE: Dyersville Man Arrested For Meth Lab

Updated: Thursday, August 21 2014, 06:03 AM CDT
DYERSVILLE, IA (CBS2/FOX28) – A Dyersville man faces charges after police say he tried to make methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, A drug task force team says they found meth-making equipment at 617 2nd St. NE, that's the home of 26-year-old Kevin Deutmeyer.
They say what they found was used to make meth with the “one pot” method; that’s where the person making the drug uses a two liter soda bottle with a small amount of ingredient.
Many who make the drug this way use it to get around laws that restrict how much of a certain chemical can be sold in one transaction.
Deutmeyer is now in the Dubuque County Jail waiting for a court appearance.
