Heroes - Pillowcases for Haiti

When Megan Ternus learned about little girls in Haiti who had merely one dress, if any, she made it her mission to change things.
So she created "Pillowcases for Haiti."  Since it began, she has joined forces with local quilting and sewing guilds creating more than 800 dresses.
For Megan, this mission is personal.
It wasn't that long ago that this outgoing, compassionate and ambitious teen from Vinton, was just 8-years old, living in an orphanage in Ukraine.
She has one pair of shorts when she left.
Today, her mission will send her to Haiti to deliver, personally, dresses and now uniforms, as well, to grateful children.
