CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Thumbing through photos, Reggie Williams, remembers.

"Very talkative, very energetic, just a fun loving person," Williams said.

Tasha Roundtrees fun loving personality led her to a party here on the southwest side, this unfortunately was the last place she would be seen alive, her family received that devastating news, Tasha had been shot in the head.

"I was devastated, it really hurt me, because I was thinking who would shoot a girl," says Williams, Roundtree's father.

That was Saturday night, September 22nd. Police spent that night talking to people in the neighborhood.
The next morning they were back looking for more evidence. Right now police are tight lipped about the case but Tasha's family is talking and they believe she was set up.

"Swag team is a family, it's not no gang," says Rondesha Roundtree.

Roundtree was part of a group of neighborhood teens called "The Swag Team"

"It's a family, everybody stick together," Roundtree said.

She was the only girl among a group of boys.

"She was like their princess, their queen, they looked up to her," says LaToyia Towns.

Her family believes that's why she was a target.

"It was a lot of jealousy, it was a lot of jealousy and that's where it came from," Towns said.

The family is working closely with police to provide any evidence which might lead to an arrest. Right now that's information police are not yet ready to release.
